Bas de Leede was taken off the field for medical attention.

Bas de Leede, the opener of Netherlands, got bloodied by Haris Rauf’s bouncer.

The team of Pakistan and Netherlands was competing in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup on Sunday.

Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat first. The Dutch batsmen batted very responsibly in front of the Pakistani bowlers and scored only 18 runs in 6 overs.

On the fifth ball of the sixth over, Harris Rowe hit the best bouncer which hit Bas de Leede.

The bouncer was so fierce and fast that even the helmet could not save Bas de Leede, a doctor was immediately called to the field.

Bas de Leede was bleeding from the mouth and was immediately taken off the field.
