South Africa achieved the target of 134 runs in the last over.

Pakistan’s hopes of reaching the semi-finals suffered a blow after South Africa defeated India in the T20 World Cup Super 12 round match.

After winning the toss and batting first, India set South Africa a target of 134 runs thanks to Surya Kumar Yadav’s half-century.

Surya Kumar played an innings of 68 runs off 40 balls. On behalf of South Africa, Lungi Angedi took four wickets while Wayne Purnell took three wickets.

South Africa achieved the target of 134 runs given by India for the loss of 5 wickets in the last over. South Africa’s Aiden Markram scored 52 and David Miller scored 59 runs.
