Marcus Stoinis accuses Mohammad Hasnain for Illegal Bowling Action – Twitter erupts

Just In: Recently, Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis and Pakistan spearhead pacer Mohammad Hasnain engaged in a heated clash during an ongoing “The Hundred 2022” T20 series. Stonis accused Hasnain of chucking, and Twitter erupted with different opinions.

Marcus Stonis and Mohammad Hasnain are participating in The Hundred 2022 League, where Stonis represents Southern Brave while Hasnain is playing for Oval Invincibles. Both mates came into the spotlight after Stonis accused Husnain of sledging during the last’s night clash.

It all started after Stonis was dismissed on a wild delivery by Husain during the first innings of the game. On his way back to the pavilion, Stonis tried to replicate Husnain’s bowling action by bending his arm, citing the young pacer that he possesses an illegal bowling style.

Cricketing poles widely condemn Stoinis’s baseless allegations of the young pacer as they think his act brings actual disgrace to cricket. In addition, Cricket fans on Twitter remind Stoinis that ICC has recently cleared Husnain’s bowling action after various biomechanics tests.

While posting the match video, a  twitter user wrote, “This is a both Level 2 dissent against the umpires and making a gesture of an insulting to another player. It will be interesting to see if the ECB punished Stoinis, or allows this kind of behavior to proliferate in their-friendly competition.”

Before this incident, another Australian all-rounder Moises Henriques also accused Husnain of illegal bowling style during the Big Bash League 2021-22. Henriques intimated the Umpire about his doubtful arm action, which was later reported to the ICC.

During the ICC’s Bowling Test, it was found that Husnian’s arm had more than 15-degree curve during the delivery. Authorities subsequently banned him from International Cricket after the results. However, the young star returns to International Cricket after remodeling his bowling attack and clearing the ICC’s Biomechanics tests.
