Just In: Pakistan star cricketer Rumman Raees named Muhammad Asif “The Greatest Pace Bowler” in Pakistan Cricket Team. Raees also hopes to perform well in Domestic Leagues to ensure his comeback to the national team.

While praising the bowling capabilities of Mohammad Asif, Rumman said that he didn’t see anyone in international cricket who controls the ball with seam and swing better than Asif. A fast bowler needs to focus on pace if he didn’t get the required seam or swing, said Raees.

Speaking to a Local News Channel, Rumman said, “All respect to Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis but Muhammad Asif is the greatest fast bowler of Pakistan because no one had more control while bowling seam and swing than Asif.”

“A fast bowler only needs to increase the pace if he does not have swing and seam. I have excelled in my seam and swing abilities so never felt the need to increase the pace. I have learned for Asif as his advice made it easier for me to take wickets,” further added by Pakistan Speed Star.

Rumman Raees also talked about his knee injury, saying his injury got worse when he started playing Pakistan Super League before full recovery from his knee injury. However, I am now ready to make comeback to National Cricket Team.

He also advised young pacers to take good care of their fitness by managing their workload. According to Rumman, the increasing number of global leagues puts a burden on pacers, and they must lookafter their fitness to avoid injuries.
