Just In: Pakistan Cricket Team has reached Dubai to participate in the Asia Cup 2022. The mega cricketing event starts on 27th August 2022, while Pakistan will face India on the following day at Dubai International Stadium.

Cameras captured the skipper Baber Azam at the Dubai Airport. Meanwhile, Mohammad Husnain, who replaced injured Shaheen Afridi, will join the squad later as he is currently in the UK to play The Hundreds League.

Earlier this day, some footage of Men in Green waiting at the airport was shared on Twitter by Pakistan Cricket Board, with the caption, “Pakistan squad arrives in Dubai”. The skipper Baber Azam alongside other Pakistani cricketers, can be seen in those images.

Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Qadir, Haider Ali, and Asif Ali are the four cricketers who reportedly arrived in Dubai from Lahore. Green Caps will start their training on Tuesday under the supervision of Saqlian Mushtaq.

Pakistan will play their opening match against India on 28th August 2022 at Dubai International Stadium. Before the big clash, Pakistan received bad news as their ace pacer Shaheen Afridi hasn’t been cleared by the Medical Board to play in Asia Cup 2022.
