The 15th successful edition of Asia Cup 2022 is ready to kick start in UAE. However, the most thrilling competition of this tournament is between two old rivals India vs Pakistan on 28th August 2022 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
While analyzing the team strengths of India and Pakistan in Asia Cup 2022 on his Youtube Channel, Kaneria admitted that Pakistan played very few T20 matches since the last World Cup, meanwhile India has completed several home and away series during this tenure. He insisted that Pakistan needs to display such audacity and build their Bench Strength as Indians do.
He said, “Pakistan have played very few matches since World Cup. They has played seven and won six. They played one big T20 game against Australia and lost that as well. In comparison, India have played 24 matches, winning 20. India’s ratio is much higher than Pakistan.”
“India is looking at the future. Unfortunately, Pakistan is not thinking on similar lines. There is no emphasis on creating a bench strength. They need to change their mentality and show some courage by giving chances to young players,” further elaborated by Former Spinner.
Danish Kaneria has also predicted the Best Performing Batsmen for Pakistan in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. According to him, Baber Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman would perform vital roles for Pakistan in this event.
