Just In: Pakistan is ready to introduce two new players in the upcoming 1st ODI match against the Netherlands on 16th August 2022 at Rotterdam. According to details, Salman Ali and Naseem Shah will receive their Debut Caps in the first ODI.
Naseem Shah successfully drew Selectors’ attention for his brilliant bowling performances in PSL and other Domestic Leagues. The young pacer will play as a replacement for Shaheen Afridi, who has been a nursing injury.
Nevertheless, Naseem already represented Pakistan in Test and T20I cricket. However, the keen reason to pick this bowler is his outstanding performance with the ball during Domestic English Leagues. If Naseem can continue his ace exhibition against the Netherlands, he could easily make his permanent space in the squad.
Salman Agha is another debutant for Pakistan in the 1st ODI match against the Netherlands. Agha joins Green Caps as a refined Middle-order batter. The young star recently made his Test Debut during the tour of Sri Lanka. However, he failed to get an impressive career start, so it’s another opportunity for Salman to display his class with Bat.
Pakistan will kick start their 1st ever ODI series against the Netherlands. The opening match of the 3-match series is scheduled on 16th August 2022 at Rotterdam. The series holds significant importance for the touring side as they will participate in Asia Cup 2022 after completing this series.
