Just In: Heavy and Persistent Rain in Punjab’s captain Lahore disrupts the Training Camp of the Pakistan Cricket Team for their upcoming tour of the Netherlands. However, the players are now engaged in Indoor Practice Sessions.

According to PCB Officials, the 16-member ODI squad was scheduled to drill at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. However, heavy and persistent rains in the city forced the team to practice inside High-Performance Center Halls.

Pakistan is scheduled to tour the Netherlands in August as an official part of its Future Tour Program (FTP). The 3-ODI match series will start from 16th August 2022 to 21st August 2022. Baber Azam will lead Green Caps in this series.

The upcoming series against the Netherlands is crucial for Pakistan, as the team will appear in the Asia Cup 2022 just after finishing this tour. Last week, PCB’s selection committee announced the 16-men squad for the Netherlands tour and Asia Cup 2022.

Reportedly, the selected playing squad for the Netherlands tour arrived at NHPC and attended the meeting under the presidency of Mansoor Rana, the Senior Manager of the Pakistan Cricket Team. The participants of the meeting were given a special lecture by Rana regarding the upcoming series and events.

Well, the 15th season of Asia Cup 2022 is a few days away. The tournament will kick start from 27th August 2022, whereas the Finals are scheduled on 11th September 2022. The high-voltage match of this event between Pakistan vs India will be played on 28th August 2022 at UAE.
