Without funds for the betterment of tennis, it cannot be done effectively.
Aisam-ul-Haq has said that for the improvement of tennis in the country, it cannot be done well without funds.
While giving a press conference in Lahore, tennis star Easam-ul-Haq said that he has been thinking for the improvement of tennis in Pakistan for four or five years and now he has started the first tennis talent hunt program in Pakistan, soon good tennis players will be found for Pakistan.
Easam-ul-Haq said that new tennis talent will be sought from Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar and the selected players will be given free training and coaching for 1 year, those who perform well will be sent out for 1 month.
Easam-ul-Haq said that so far 300 children have signed up for the Tennis Hunt program, they will try to give more good tennis players to Pakistan after Easam and Aqeel, but sponsors are needed to improve this sport.
He said that unless funds are given for tennis, work cannot be done properly.
