Afghanistan and Nepal are ready to take on each other in the second-last match of the Group A in Qualifying stage of the ICC World T20 2014. Both of them have last chance of making it to the Super 10, at least giving them a chance to qualify for next stage.
The toss has been conducted and it’s Afghanistan who have won it and elected to bowl first. Afghanistan’s batting line clicked in the last match and they would feel comfortable chasing today. More importantly, they are looking to play on their strength and restrict Nepal to a minimal total first up.
Nepal have not made any changes to their squad and would be comfortable batting first without pressure as well. Afghanistan on the other hand, have left out Hamza Hotak, Najeeb Tarakai and Gulbadin Naib. Mirwais Ashraf, Nawroz Mangal and Karm Sadiq have been brought into the side for today’s match.
